June 2024 4.00This is a nice home and well equipped. It is quiet, private and nearly backing to the equestrian area. The lanai is a great place to hang out as it is private. It is in a good location for getting to Spanish Springs town square - a relatively short and safe golf cart or bike ride away. A family pool is less than 1/2 mile away as is the Santiago golf course and putting practice. For water aerobicslap swimming, water volleyball, La Hacienda or Laurel Manor are both short golf car or bike rides. Tierra Del Mar, with an adult pool, golf, playhouse and restaurant with a view of the golf course is about 2 miles away. Lake Sumter town square, while a bit further, is within 1/2 hour ride in a golf car. Publix and other stores are near Spanish Springs town square as well. It would be nice to get the newspaper included with the rental because that has interesting information about the area and provides the updated recreation schedule each Thursday. The house is in great shape and would benefit from an update in the decorating. I mistakenly missed a difference in price due to clearning and other fees, increasing the cost by 20%. Clearly stating the total price of the rental in correspondence with the renter would be beneficial.
